We are
cruising to eat at every restaurant on State Street in Orem.
This Saturday was one of the first sunny days this
year. All three of us were working
outside, raking and cleaning up. Picked up
some of the worst piles and then focused on one little area; it looks the
nicest it has in years. We had worked a
couple of hours and John asked if we wanted to go out to eat. The answer was “yes!” But where should we
go. John also wanted to pick up a few
things on sale at Macey’s. So, I thought – “hey, they have a deli there, and
tables to sit. This should count as a
restaurant on State Street."
Phil explored for free samples while we checked out the
offerings. The reason John wanted to go
to Macey’s in the first place was to pick up some potato salad that was on
sale. So, we ended up buying some
chicken and a tub of potato salad. We
grabbed some forks and dove in. And
brought home lots of leftovers.
